Acyclovir? Acyclover is a common misspelling of acyclovir.

Acyclovir (Zovirax®) is an antiviral medication used for treating genital herpes, shingles, and chickenpox. It works by preventing the viruses that cause these conditions from multiplying, which helps the body fight these infections. The drug, which is available in both brand-name and generic form, comes as tablets, capsules, or an oral solution. Before your healthcare provider prescribes acyclovir, make sure he or she is aware if you are pregnant, have kidney disease, or have any allergies.
