Gabapenton

Gabapentin (Neurontin®) is a medication approved for the treatment of nerve pain after shingles. It can also be used in combination with other seizure medicines to treat partial seizures in adults and children as young as three years old. It is believed that gabapentin works by affecting certain calcium channels in the brain. The drug is available by prescription only and comes in tablet, capsule, and liquid form.
